The Colony is a student club geared towards supporting E&H Athletics. The Colony is open for all students to join and is dedicated to fostering school spirit and pride. Students who join receive an official Colony t-shirt and 10% off Pizza Plus membership card.
How The Colony works:
Select sporting events will be designated Colony events. At those events, Colony members sign in at the designated area. For every Colony event that the member attends, they will receive 5 points. When a member reaches the 25, 50, 75, and 100 point levels they will receive a prize from The Colony’s sponsors, Sodexo and Pizza Plus. The member with the highest point total at the end of the year will receive the grand prize. This year’s grand prize is a Nike Fuelband.
To join, send an e-mail with your name, year, and t-shirt size to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Emory & Henry encourages group events at home athletic contests. Bring your youth, church or school group to watch a college athletic event.
Dance groups, youth league athletic teams, or other performance groups should inquire about performing during pre-game or at half-time of athletic events.
The Emory & Henry College Department of Athletics is eager to partner with businesses that wish to support our student-athletes and programs through sponsorships. Sponsors may be recognized either through our print media such as schedule cards or game programs, with venue signage, and/or through our new athletics website. Various sponsorship levels are available.

The Wasps Challenge is a contest between the sports teams at Emory & Henry. This challenge is formed to create camaraderie between all the teams on campus. It has been created to form a bond between all of the student-athletes.
How The Wasps Challenge works:
One event, per sport, is designated a Wasps Challenge event. For that event, all other teams are encouraged to attend that event. At those events, individual roll will be taken at the designated area. After roll is taken, the percentage of attendance for each team is tracked. Throughout the year, the participation percentage will be tallied for each Wasps Challenge event. The team that supports the other sports with the highest percentage of attendance at designated events during the 2013-14 school year will receive a trophy and a party!
