LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Emory & Henry College Softball Team is receiving votes in the NFCA Division III Top 25 Poll, NFCA officials announced Wednesday. The NFCA is the National Fastpitch Coaches Association.
The Wasps return to the national conversation for the first time since being ranked No. 25 in NCAA Division III on April 4. That ranking was the first in E&H Softball program history.

For a second year in a row, Emory & Henry finished as the runner-up in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference Tournament. The Wasps have put together a 31-14 overall record marking their third 30-win season in program history and second in as many years.
Emory & Henry is one of four ODAC schools to be mentioned in the poll as league champion Virginia Wesleyan University continues as the unanimous No. 1. Randolph-Macon College falls to No. 5 this week while Lynchburg College joins E&H in the receiving votes category.
Currently ranked No. 9 in the NCAA Division III Atlantic Region, the Wasps await the announcement of the 62-team field which will compete for the Division III National Championship. The announcement will be made on NCAA.com on Monday, May 7 at 1:00 p.m.
