INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Emory & Henry College Softball Team is ranked ninth in the NCAA Division III Atlantic Region rankings for a second week in a row, NCAA officials announced Thursday.

The rankings are unchanged from last week with E&H as one of four Old Dominion Athletic Conference schools represented. It is the sixth-straight ranking period dating back to April 27, 2017 that the Wasps have been listed as one of the top programs in the region.

Virginia Wesleyan University remains the top team in the region and the country this week with a 45-2 overall record. Randolph-Macon College is still second while Lynchburg College sits at seventh.

Emory & Henry (31-14, 9-9 ODAC) finished as the runner-up in the ODAC Tournament for a second year in a row last weekend and will now await the announcement of the 62-team field for the NCAA Division III Tournament. The advancing teams will be announced on Monday, May 7 at 1:00 p.m., on NCAA.com
