EMORY, Va. - Emory & Henry University is proud to announce that nominations are now open for the 2026 class of the Emory & Henry Sports Hall of Fame. This annual tradition honors the outstanding achievements and lasting contributions of former student-athletes, coaches, teams, and supporters who have elevated the legacy of E&H athletics.
Established to preserve and celebrate the University's rich athletic history, the Hall of Fame recognizes individuals and groups who exemplified excellence, leadership, and sportsmanship during their time at Emory & Henry and beyond.
Who Can Be Nominated?
Eligible nominees include:

Former student-athletes who have been out of school for at least 10 years and demonstrated exceptional performance and character both on and off the field.

Coaches or athletic administrators who have made a significant impact on Emory & Henry athletics.

Teams that achieved remarkable success or overcame extraordinary challenges.

Contributors or supporters who have gone above and beyond in advancing the mission of E&H athletics.

How to Nominate:
Nominations and supporting information can be submitted to Director of Sports Information Clay Gardner at cbgardner@emoryhenry.edu or Director of Athletics Media and Production Brandon Stevens at bcstevens@emoryhenry.edu.
The deadline to submit nominations is April 19, 2026. All submissions will be reviewed by the Hall of Fame Selection Committee, composed of athletic administrators, alumni, and past inductees. The Class of 2026 will be officially announced later this summer, with an induction ceremony scheduled for September 26, 2026 prior to the football game against Newberry College.
