LAKE ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The IDA team returned to St. Louis to compete in the IDA National Championships once again. Emory & Henry took home National Team Reserve Champion with 37 points, close behind Virginia Tech with 38 points.

Thursday – Individual Championship & DSE Championship
Junior Anna Norton (Charlotte, N.C.) started the day off with 67.014% to take home eighth place in First Level Testing
Freshman Olivia Edgington-Desmet (Alpharetta, Ga) rode to a 68.500% to take home fourth place in Upper Training Testing
Junior Bailey Shive (Hot Springs, Ark.) took home second place with a score of 72.308% in Lower Training Testing
Sophomore Sam Nappi (Bedford, Mass.) was close behind with a score of 71.442% to take home fourth place.
Sophomore Eva Packman (Spotsylvannia, V.A.) took home fourth place at the Introductory Level Testing with a score of 68.594%.
Sophomore Irelyn Petrie (Nokesville, V.A.) took home the blue ribbon in Upper Training DSE, followed by Freshman Tea Fuller (Little Valley, N.Y.) who claimed sixth in the nation
Sophmore Lauren Scott (Otego N.Y.) also took home the blue ribbon in Lower Training DSE, Junior Norah Jones (Buchanan V.A.) rode to a fourth place finish
To finish off the day sophomoreSierra Carson finished in fourth place in Introductory Level DSE
Friday – Team Championship
Norton started the day off in the team competition with a seventh place finish at the First Level at 67.803%.
Cetari White-Anderson (Clatskanie, Ore.) finished her Upper Training Testing strong with a 70.862% to finish second place
Nappi also finished strong with a 69.52% to take home the second place finish
Emory & Henry closed out the championship with Packman placing fourth in the Introductory Level with a 68.75
The Wasps finish with a team score of 69.234% with 37 points
Awards
Odessa Thacker has been inducted into the IDA Hall of Fame for her contributions to IDA.
