WACO, Texas – The Emory & Henry University Football Team is receiving votes in the AFCA Division II Top 25 Poll for a second week in a row, AFCA officials announced Monday. This year, the AFCA Division II Coaches Poll is being presented by Hudl.

E&H is currently 6-1 on the year and holds a 4-1 record in the South Atlantic Conference. The Wasps solidified their first winning season as a NCAA Division II institution on Saturday with a 34-3 win over Anderson University.

Emory & Henry is one of four SAC schools to be mentioned in this week's AFCA poll. Lenoir-Rhyne University moves up one spot to 16th while Carson-Newman University is 17th. In addition to the Wasps, Wingate University is also receiving votes.

E&H will host No. 17 Carson-Newman (7-0, 5-0 SAC) in a battle for the top of the SAC Mountain Division on Saturday. Kickoff between the Wasps and Eagles is set for 1:00 p.m.
