WACO, Texas – The Emory & Henry University Football Team is receiving votes in the AFCA Division II Top 25 Poll for the first time during the 2025 season, AFCA officials announced Monday. This year, the AFCA Division II Coaches Poll is being presented by Hudl.

E&H is currently 5-1 on the year and holds a 4-1 record in the South Atlantic Conference. The Wasps earned a big victory this past Saturday, defeating a nationally-ranked Carson-Newman University for the second consecutive season as the Wasps downed the Eagles by a 19-13 margin.

Emory & Henry is one of three SAC schools to be mentioned in this week's AFCA poll. Catawba College received eight votes, while Carson-Newman received one.

E&H travels to take on Mars Hill University (3-2, 2-1 SAC) this Saturday, October 11. Kickoff is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. from Meares Stadium in Mars Hill, North Carolina.
