WACO, Texas – The Emory & Henry University Football Team is receiving votes in the AFCA Division II Top 25 Poll for a second week in a row, AFCA officials announced Monday. This year, the AFCA Division II Coaches Poll is being presented by Hudl.

E&H is currently 6-1 on the year and holds a 5-1 record in the South Atlantic Conference. The Wasps picked up a big road SAC win this past weekend, defeating Mars Hill University by a 48-23 final margin.

Emory & Henry is the lone SAC school to be mentioned in this week's AFCA Poll. The Wasps are the first team sitting outside of the Top 25, receiving 36 total votes in this week's edition of the poll. 

E&H will host Wingate (4-2, 2-2 SAC) for Homecoming Weekend this upcoming Saturday, October 18. Kickoff is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. from Fred Selfe Stadium at Nicewonder Field.
