WACO, Texas - The Emory & Henry Football Team has received two more individual awards for performance during the 2025 season. Junior defensive lineman Ean Rhea (Glade Spring, Va.) and senior defensive back Shawn Collins (Salem, Va.) have both been named All-Americans by the American Football Coaches Association. Rhea was selected to the First Team, while Collins earned a nod on the Second Team.

Rhea adds yet another award to his trophy case after being named the Touchdown Club of Richmond's Defensive Lineman of the Year, as well as being selected South Atlantic Conference Defensive Player of the Year, All-SAC First Team Defense and D2CCA All-Super Region II First Team.
Rhea led the SAC and was tied for fifth in the nation with 12 sacks. He also registered 50 tackles, 17.5 for loss, and forced a trio of fumbles. Rhea registered at least .5 sacks in nine separate games, including three in a 42-13 victory over Anderson (S.C.) University. Rhea had seven tackles, three sacks for 15 yards lost, 3.5 tackles for loss and a forced fumble against the Trojans, leading to him being awarded SAC Defensive Player of the Week and NCAA.com Division II Football National Defensive Player of the Week for his performance.
It is the second consecutive year that Collins has received All-American honors after being named a Don Hansen All-American Honorable Mention following the 2024 season. Collins was selected to the All-South Atlantic Conference First Team Defense for the 2025 season. He recorded 44 tackles, four for loss, while forcing a fumble and recovering another. Collins finished the year with three interceptions and five pass breakups.
