EMORY, Va. – The Emory & Henry University Football Team has released its schedule for the upcoming 2026 season. Head Football Coach Quintin Hunter will lead the Wasps onto the field for his third season after posting an 8-3 record in 2025.

E&H opens the season on Thursday, August 27, visiting perennial national power Valdosta State University. The Blazers are four-time national champions at the Division II level and provide a chance for the Wasps to compete on the national stage on the first night of competition for all levels of college football.
The Wasps are back on the road the following Saturday, September 5 when they renew the Crooked Road Rivalry with former Old Dominion Athletic Conference rival Ferrum College. This will be the first meeting between the two programs since the 2021 season when E&H defeated the Panthers by a 41-23 scoreline. It will also be the first matchup of the two schools since both made the transition to the Division II ranks. Emory & Henry leads the all-time series 27-12.
Emory & Henry opens up its home slate on Saturday, September 12 when the Wasps welcome Tusculum University to Fred Selfe Stadium. E&H has defeated TU in three straight seasons.
On Saturday, September 19, E&H travels to take on Catawba College, before returning home on September 26 to host defending SAC champion and National semifinalist Newberry College (1 p.m.).
A trip to the Palmetto State on Saturday, October 3 to take on Anderson (S.C.) University awaits E&H before returning home on Saturday, October 10 to face Mars Hill University on Homecoming Weekend.
E&H travels to Carson-Newman University on Saturday, October 17 to face the Eagles before being off on Saturday, October 24 for their scheduled bye week.
Emory & Henry will host Lenoir-Rhyne University on Saturday, October 31 (1 p.m.), before closing out the season's road schedule at Wingate University on Saturday, November 7. The Wasps will celebrate Senior Day and close out the regular season against the University of Virginia's College at Wise for Southwest Virginia Bowl IX.
