ROCK HILL, S.C. – Emory & Henry University junior Jordan Kaung Kyaw has been selected as the South Atlantic Conference Men's Golfer of the Week, league officials announced Wednesday. This year, the SAC Player of the Week awards are sponsored by WePlayed Sports.

Kyaw led E&H to a second-place finish by one stroke at the Richard Rendleman Invitational last week as he finished tied for second overall at -6 (64-69-74 – 207). He had the low round of the tournament, carding a -7 (64) on Monday morning to also break the school record for 18-hole raw score.

The Yangon, MYANMAR native posted a 207 (-6) to tie for the best 54-hole total in program history, while the team carded its first under-par three-round tournament at -1 (275-277-299 – 851) which was 30 shots better than the previous mark.

Over the course of the tournament, Emory & Henry scorched the record book with the best and third-best 18 holes by an individual, the best and second-best 18 holes by the team, the three best 54-hole tournament scores by an individual and the best 54-hole tournament score by the team.

Emory & Henry has completed its fall season will return to the course in March.
