Freshman forward Samuel Ulrich Da Silva (Balneario Camboriu, BRAZIL) slotted the ball into the net to give E&H the early 1-0 advantage. The Bears responded in the 29th minute on a goal from Hector Taboada, assisted by Macoy Strawn to level the game at 1-1. The two teams continued to press, but the tie held heading into halftime.
- E&H struck again in the 55th minute on a beautiful goal from Baez Juarez that curled into the upper left hand side of the goal to put the Wasps back on top. Emory & Henry added another in the 75th minute when freshman midfielder Noah Serwy (Liege, BELGIUM) put home a rebound after a shot from freshman forward Jean-Charles Eyidi (Briollay, FRANCE) was saved by the LR keeper to make it 3-1. The Wasps rounded out their scoring in the 83rd minute as Mzamane capitalized on another rebound from a shot by Eyidi, smashing the ball into the goal to give Emory & Henry a dominant 4-1 advantage. The Bears would draw one goal back in the 89th minute after a big save on a penalty kick from junior goalkeeper Baptiste Berthozat (Saint-Martin-de-Crau, FRANCE) fell to Guillermo Garcia, who scored.
