ROCK HILL, S.C. - The Emory & Henry Men's Soccer Team continued its historic season as it saw six of its players be named amongst the best in the South Atlantic Conference. Freshman forward Noah Serwy (Liege, BELGIUM) and sophomore defender Marcelo Lopes (Sao Paulo, BRAZIL) were both selected to the All-SAC First Team. Freshman forward Jean-Charles Eyidi (Briollay, FRANCE), freshman midfielder Titouan Itier (Paris, FRANCE) and freshman defender Milan Ales (Le Cres, FRANCE) were named All-SAC Second Team while freshman defender Marcos Baez Juarez (Miranda de Azan, SPAIN) earned All-SAC Third Team honors.

Serwy has had a breakout season for the Wasps as he has recorded five goals, three game winners, a SAC-leading six assists and is tied for the SAC lead with 16 total points. Lopes has been a captain and stalwart along the defensive back line for E&H all season as the Wasps have posted six shutouts on the year.

Eyidi has registered five goals of his own while adding three assists for a total of 13 points. He also scored the game-winning goal in a 2-1 victory at Tusculum. Itier has shown himself to be one of the best and most consistent players in the midfield throughout the league, contributing to the Wasps' success all season. Ales boasts a pair of goals and is second on the squad with four assists. His play up and down the wing from his defensive position and delivery on set pieces has been a key component to E&H both offensively and defensively. Baez Juarez contributed a goal and a pair of assists from the other wing back position for the Wasps. He scored one of the goals of the year in the conference in the Wasps' 4-2 victory over Lenoir-Rhyne.

Emory & Henry is back in action this Friday, November 14 when the Wasps take on the No. 3 seeded Lincoln Memorial Railsplitters in the Semifinals of the South Atlantic Conference Tournament. Kickoff is scheduled for 8:00 p.m. from the Sportsplex at Matthews in Matthews, North Carolina.
