Emory & Henry Men’s & Women’s Swimming Announce 2019-20 Season Schedule

EMORY, Va. – The Emory & Henry College Men's & Women's Swimming Teams are excited to announce their schedule for the upcoming 2019-20 season. The Wasps will swim in two invitationals and seven dual meets during the regular season, leading up to the all-important Old Dominion Athletic Conference Championship weekend in February.

E&H gets the season started on Friday, October 4 and Saturday, October 5 when it competes in the King Invitational at the Kingsport Aquatics Center in Kingpsort, Tennessee. The Wasps will get to take on top-level NCAA Division II competition from the South Atlantic Region including Carson-Newman University, Wingate University and Queens (N.C.) University.

On Friday, October 25, Emory & Henry will open the dual meet portion of its season at ODAC-rival Ferrum College. The Wasps return home on Saturday, October 26 for a meet against start-up program University of Lynchburg at 1:00 p.m.

E&H will host a pair of meets over the weekend of Friday, November 8 and Saturday, November 9. Friday evening, King (Tenn.) University and Milligan College come to town for a 5:00 p.m., start while the Wasps welcome Greensboro College on Saturday at 1:00 p.m.

After travelling to face Roanoke College on Saturday, November 16, Emory & Henry complete its fall semester slate with the Yellow Jacket Invitational, hosted by Randolph-Macon College at the Collegiate School Aquatic Center.

A pair of home dual meets in January close out the regular season. E&H welcomes Bridgewater College and Lees-McRae College to Southwest Virginia on Saturday, January 18. Sweet Briar College and Hampden-Sydney College will make their visits on Saturday, January 25.

The 2020 ODAC Championships will take on a new format with the addition of a seventh session. The meet will begin on the evening of Thursday, February 6 and continue with morning and evening sessions on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
