EMORY, Va. - The Emory & Henry University Men's Tennis Team (0-11) and Women's Tennis Team (3-8) split a pair of non-conference matches with Ferrum College Wednesday afternoon. The women's team defeated the Panthers by a 6-1 margin while the men's team fell 7-0.

- Senior Keenan Glago (Harrisonburg, Va.) fell 6-7, 2-6 to Tobi Teller in their No. 3 singles match.
- Sophomore Leo Knothe (Hanover, GERMANY) dropped a 4-6, 2-6 decision to Emilio Munguia in their No. 4 singles match.
- Senior Tristan Hicks (Abingdon, Va.) forced a third-set tiebreaker, but fell 7-6, 1-6, 0-1 (3-10) at No. 5 singles to Brian Karenzi.
- Freshman Spencer Richard (Lenoir, N.C.) fell by a 3-6, 4-6 final to Gabriel Alvarez in their No. 6 singles match.
Women's Match
- Emory & Henry completed a sweep of the doubles matches to take a 1-0 advantage.
- Sophomore Tahnne Sesma (Zumaia, SPAIN) fell 2-6, 0-6 to Bianca Soloranzo at No. 1 singles.
- Junior Olivia Pursley (Hendersonville, N.C.) defeated Stephanie Porras 6-3, 6-4 in their No. 2 singles showdown.
- Sophomore Ellyson Kovacs (Bristol, Tenn.) dominated Hannah Huffman 6-0, 6-0 at No. 3 singles.
- Freshman Sarah McClure (Lansing, N.C.) rolled past Chloe Smith by a 6-0, 6-0 scoreline at No. 4 singles.
- Senior Katie Bradley (Auchterarder, SCOTLAND) earned a win by default at No. 5 singles.
- Senior Nina Williams (Fleet, ENGLAND) was a winner by default at No. 6 singles.
