FAIRFAX, Va. – The Emory & Henry College Men's Track & Field Team wrapped up the 2024 campaign on Sunday at the IC4A/ECAC Outdoor Championships. The Wasps placed 32nd in a field made up of mostly NCAA Division I schools.
It was the second year in a row that the Wasps have competed at the IC4A Outdoor Championships and marked the third straight IC4A Championship between outdoor and indoor that E&H has sent representatives.

Discus – Sophomore Tyrique Taylor (Christiansburg, Va.) finished sixth with a school-record mark of 47.60 meters.
4x800 Meter Relay – Freshman Gavin Kegler (Woodbridge, Va.), sophomore Samuel Tindall (Fort Defiance, Va.), junior Aaron Wilson (Chester, Va.) and freshman Heath Bowker (Salem, Va.) placed 10th with a time of 7:58.87.
The three points scored by Taylor put the Wasps in the team standings in a tie for 32nd place out of 36 scoring schools. Emory & Henry recently finished 13th at the South Atlantic Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
