NEW ORLEANS, La. – The Emory & Henry University Men's Track & Field Team has seen a member named to the NCAA Division II All-Southeast Region Outdoor Team by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).

The awards are given to the top-five individuals in each event from each of the country's eight regions, in addition to each member of the region's top-three relay teams.

Emory & Henry saw senior Gavin Lee (North Tazewell, Va.) selected in the hammer throw and the discus. It is the second consecutive year that Lee has earned All-Region honors.

Lee had a throw of 58.05 meters in the hammer throw at the South Atlantic Conference Championships to take the league title. It was his third conference championship in the event in four years. Lee also picked up a conference championship in the discus as he launched a throw of 48.68 meters to earn medalist honors.
