GREENEVILLE, Tenn. – The Emory & Henry University Men's & Women's Cross Country Teams traveled to Tusculum University for the South Atlantic Conference Preview Saturday morning. The men's squad took fourth place while the women's team was fifth.

The Women – 6K
-Junior Kennedy Harris (Mineral, Va.) finished 9th with a time of 27:22 to lead the Wasps. Senior Elise McKinney (Church Hill, Tenn.) in 28:06 placed 16th, while junior Maya Turner (Midland, Va.) 29:11 placed 25th.
- Sophomore Tess Somervell (Chilhowie, Va.) placed 31st with a 29:52 and junior Hannah Rosen (Falls Church, Va.) was 45th with her time of 32:47.
- Lincoln Memorial claimed the title, placing five runners in the top 11. Tennessee Running Club's Lauren Rutlin was the individual champion as she posted a time of 25:20.
The Men – 8K
- Senior Miles Baldwin (Willis, Va.) placed 4th as E&H's top finisher, running a 29:37. Senior Samuel Tindall (Fort Defiance, Va.) was 9th in 30:25 while junior Davis Norman (Salem, Va.) stopped the clock in 30:57 to take 14th.
- J.T. Moore (Chilhowie, Va.) finished 21st with a time of 31:54 as freshman Brady Widlake (Bristow, Va.) rounded out the Wasps' scorers in 33rd (33:15).
- Lincoln Memorial won the team event with 6 runners in the top 20. Tusculum's Nathan Buckeridge claimed first in 28:26.
