LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Emory & Henry University Softball Team is receiving votes for the second week in a row in the National Fastpitch Coaches Association Top 25 Poll, NFCA officials announced Tuesday. This year the NFCA Top 25 Polls are being sponsored by GoRout.

E&H is currently 14-3 on the year and is riding a 12-game winning streak. The Wasps picked up six-straight run-rule victories over the course of a three-day homestand this past weekend, outscoring their opponents by a combined 79-16.
Emory & Henry is one of two South Atlantic Conference schools to be mentioned in this week's NFCA poll. Lincoln Memorial University sits alongside E&H in the "receiving votes" category as the first team outside of the Top 25. The Wasps and Lady Railsplitters will face off on Tuesday, March 4 to open the SAC regular season.
Emory & Henry returns to action on Saturday at 4:00 p.m. with the first contest of a three-game series at Young Harris College. The Wasps will play a doubleheader with the Mountain Lions on Sunday, starting at noon.
