RALEIGH, N.C. – The Emory & Henry University Softball Team (9-7, 0-0 SAC) wrapped up the Triangle Classic with wins against Chowan and Fayetteville State. The Wasps went 4-0 across the two day tournament and set their sights on a lengthy home stand beginning Saturday March 7th against Fairmont State.

Malorie Reeves (Galax, Va) got the start in the circle for the Wasps and she delivered an absolute gem. Reeves went the distance while only giving up 3 hits and striking out 7 Hawks. The lone run of the game came off of a Tristyn Tofano (Roanoke, Va.) sacrifice fly that brought home Rachel Hill (Stanardsville, Va.). It would remain a defensive minded game through the rest of the morning, E&H managed to get on the bases 5 total times with hits coming from Hill, Laila Rodriguez (Virginia Beach, Va.), Sawyer Tolley (Bedford, Va.), and Kylie Cundiff (Roanoke, Va.).
