EMORY, Va. – The Emory & Henry University Men's & Women's Golf Teams have released their schedule for the spring portion of the season. The men's squad has five tournaments scheduled while the women will play in four events. Both teams will culminate the year at the South Atlantic Conference Championships.

Additionally, David Tayloe '82 has been hired to coach both programs for the spring 2025 semester. Tayloe returns to Emory & Henry with 24 years of experience in the golf industry including 11 years as the Head Golf Professional and Director of Golf at Glenrochie Country Club in Abingdon. Most recently, he spent the past year-and-a-half as the Assistant Golf Coach at Southwest Virginia Community College in Richlands. As an undergraduate, he was instrumental in seeing golf move from a club sport to a varsity sport, serving as a player-coach and was named to the All-ODAC Team as a junior.

The men's team gets the spring started at the Sherman B. Smith Memorial, hosted by Emmanuel (Ga.) University at Cateechee Ranch in Hartwell, Georgia on Monday, February 17 and Tuesday, February 18. The women will also visit Cateechee Ranch on Monday, March 3 and Tuesday, March 4 for the Emmanuel Spring Invitational.

Next up for both squads is the Stitch Golf Sandhills Flyers Spring Invitational on Monday, March 17 and Tuesday, March 18 at Longleaf Golf & Family Club in Southern Pines, North Carolina.

On Monday, March 24 and Tuesday, March 25, the men will play in the Cherokee Valley Spring Bash hosted by North Greenville University at Cherokee Valley Country Club in Tigerville, South Carolina while the women will be at Catawba College's Patsy Rendleman Invitational, hosted at the Country Club of Salisbury in Salisbury, North Carolina.

The men will go to the Cleveland State Invitational at The Ooltewah Club in Ooltewah, Tennessee on Monday, March 30 and Tuesday, March 31.

The SAC Women's Golf Championship will be played from Sunday, April 6 through Tuesday, April 8 with the men's championship the following week (Apr. 13-15). Both events will take place at The Preserve at Verdae in Greenville, South Carolina.
