MOUNT OLIVE, N.C. – The Emory & Henry University Men's Wrestling Team (0-5) competed in a pair of duals at the Trojan Duals hosted by the University of Mount Olive Sunday. The Wasps fell to Allen (S.C.) University 38-14 before dropping a 53-4 decision to the host institution Mount Olive.

Allen 38, Emory & Henry 14
- The Yellow Jackets began the dual with a 24-6 advantage due to unfilled weight classes.
- Junior Logan Arnold (Rocky Mount, Va.) earned a win by forfeit at 141 pounds.
- Sophomore Sebastian Gaberrete (Jeffersonton, Va.) was dominant at 174 pounds as he dispatched Farrad Moore by a 19-3 technical fall in 2:59.
- Redshirt freshman Evan Alger (Pulaski, Va.) picked up a gritty win at 197 pounds by a narrow 9-7 decision over Sekou Bangoura.

Mount Olive 53, Emory & Henry 4
- The Trojans started the dual with a 24-0 advantage due to unfilled weight classes.
- Gaberrete earned his second victory of the day as he defeated Logan Haseley at 174 pounds by a 15-5 major decision.
- Senior Isaiah Dotson (Jonesville, Va.) was defeated by a 24-8 technical fall in 4:53 to Christian Orozco.
