EMORY, Va. – The Emory & Henry University Men's Wrestling Team (0-14, 0-11 Carolinas) fell on Senior Night to Lincoln Memorial University (1-12, 1-11 Carolinas) inside the Martin-Brock Student Center Thursday evening. The Railsplitters edged the Wasps by a 34-23 final score. The Wasps honored fifth-year Levi Field (Manassas, Va.) prior to the dual.

The Match
- The dual began tied at 18-18 due to forfeits at 125, 133, 174, 184, 197 and 285 pounds.
- Junior Gavin Warner (Draper, Va.) was defeated by pinfall in 2:09 by Spencer Reep at 141 pounds.
- Freshman Isaac Hensley (Vilas, N.C.) was pinned by Porter Finstad in 2:38 at the 149-pound weight class.
- Field was bested by an 18-6 major decision by James Thaxton in their 157-pound bout.
- Junior Sebastian Gabarrete (Jeffersonton, Va.) picked up a big 19-4 technical fall win over Julian Smith in 2:03.
- Freshman Colton Lewis (Tarboro, N.C.) earned a win by forfeit at 174 pounds.
- Freshman Waylon Holt (Jefferson City, Tenn.) was victorious by forfeit at 184 pounds.
- Freshman Raul Lopez-Aguilar (Ronda, Va.) won by forfeit at 197 pounds.
