Emory & Henry Wrestling Sees Nine Named To Conference Carolinas Academic All-Conference Teams

GREENVILLE, S.C. – Three members of the Emory & Henry University Men's Wrestling Team and six members of the Emory & Henry University Women's Wrestling Team have been named to the winter and spring Conference Carolinas Academic All-Conference teams, presented by Barnes & Noble College, league officials announced Thursday.

For the men's team, fifth year Levi Field (Manassas, Va.), junior Sebastian Gabarrete (Jeffersonton, Va.) and sophomore Evan Alger (Pulaski, Va.) were all honored for their academic accomplishments by Conference Carolinas.

On the women's side, sophomore Rihana Carson (Roanoke, Va.), redshirt junior Eryn Hubble (Leesburg, Va.), junior Molly Keller (Fairlawn, Va.), junior Natalia Langer (Powhatan, Va.), senior Ava Thomas (Stafford, Va.) and junior Madison Wilson (Henrico, Va.) were honored for their work in the classroom.

The Conference Carolinas Academic All-Conference teams consist of student-athletes who have maintained at least a 3.25 cumulative grade-point average in all work completed at their current institution.

These GPAs are calculated based on the cumulative averages of the student-athletes through the previous semester and each student-athlete must have attended their member institution for at least one academic year.
