ANDERSON, S.C. - The Emory & Henry University Women's Soccer Team has earned a spot on the 2025 D2CCA All-Southeast Region Women's Soccer Team. Junior forward Charlotte Stavis (Charlotte, N.C.) has been selected to the First Team for her efforts during the 2025 season. The All-Region teams were announced on Tuesday.
Stavis started all 17 games for the Wasps during the 2025 season. She ended the regular season as the SAC leader in goals (17), points (35), shots (98) and shots on goal (65). Stavis also tallied three game-winning goals on the season, including the deciding goals at Virginia State (Sep. 6), vs. Bluefield State (Oct. 22) and vs. Carolina University (Oct. 29). She is now fifth in program history in career goals (27), tied for third in goals in a season (17), fifth in career points (62) and third in points in a season (35). Stavis was selected to the 2025 All-SAC Second Team as a forward.
The Southeast Region is made up of the following conferences from the Southeastern United States: Conference Carolinas (CC), Peach Belt Conference (PBC) and South Atlantic Conference (SAC). The SAC led all leagues with 11 selections, including the Player of the Year. Conference Carolinas had nine players, while the Peach Belt had six.
