- Senior Nathan Spurling (Abingdon, Va.) trailed 2-6, 1-4 in his No. 2 singles match with Senthen Reddy when it was left unfinished.
- Senior Keenan Glago (Harrisonburg, Va.) was leading Martin Posada Garcia 7-6 (7-2), 2-2 at the No. 3 singles spot when their match was abandoned.
- Sophomore Leo Knothe (Hanover, GERMANY) was downed by a 2-6, 1-6 score by Sohei Kamiyama at the No. 4 singles position.
- Senior Tristan Hicks (Abingdon, Va.) was down 2-6 against Noel Bartz at No. 5 singles.
- Senior Gus Senn (Charlotte, N.C.) was ahead 6-4, 1-2 at No. 6 singles versus Evan Philips.
Women's Match
- Newberry swept the doubles portion of the match to take a 1-0 lead.
- Sophomore Tahnne Sesma (Zumaia, SPAIN) was trailing Margarita Roshka 1-6, 2-3 at the No. 1 singles spot.
- Junior Olivia Pursley (Hendersonville, N.C.) was defeated 3-6, 1-6 by Lina Sarhan at No. 2 singles.
- Sophomore Ellyson Kovacs (Bristol, Tenn.) was down 1-6, 0-4 to Aina Miralles in their No. 3 singles match.
- Senior Katie Bradley (Auchterarder, SCOTLAND) trailed 2-6, 0-3 to Renee Dorval in No. 4 singles.
- Freshman Sarah McClure (Lansing, N.C.) was defeated by a 0-6, 0-6 score against Hazel Vernon at No. 5 singles.
- The Wolves won the No. 6 singles match by forfeit to clinch the victory.
