ROCK HILL, S.C. – The Emory & Henry University Volleyball Team has been picked to finish in 11th place in the South Atlantic Conference this year by the league's head coaches. The poll was released by the SAC office on Monday.
E&H was ninth overall in the league last year with a 10-18 record, 6-12 in SAC play. The Wasps return 13 players and have added nine freshmen to a roster that looks to make the SAC tournament for the first time in program history.

Defending SAC regular season champion Wingate University is picked to win the league with 11 first-place votes. Anderson (S.C.) University is second in the poll with two top nods while Lenoir-Rhyne University is third. Tusculum University was selected fourth and Carson-Newman University rounded out the top five.
Additionally, the SAC has announced its Preseason All-Conference Teams, with E&H sophomore Grace Duey (Tega Cay, S.C.) earning a spot on the Third Team. Duey was second on the Wasps' squad last season with 188 kills, while her .237 hitting percentage was third on the team. She also added 95 digs, 38 blocks, 15 service aces and nine assists.
Emory & Henry travels to take on NCAA Division I opponent UNC Charlotte for an exhibition match on Saturday, August 24, before getting the 2024 regular season underway on Friday, September 6, against Wayne State (Neb.) College and host Eckerd College at the Eckerd College Tournament.
