CLEVELAND, Tenn. – The Emory & Henry University Volleyball Team (2-5) dropped both matches at the Lee Tri-Match in Cleveland, Tennessee Saturday afternoon. The Wasps fell to Lee University and Thomas More University by a pair of 3-0 scorelines. 

The Basics

The Lee Match
- Sophomore outside hitter Tori Boling (Tega Cay, S.C.) paced the Wasps with five kills, eight digs, one assist and a service ace. Junior outside hitter Grace Duey (Tega Cay, S.C.) added five kills, six digs and a block while junior middle Haley Harnichar (Sevierville, Tenn.) finished with four kills and a block.
- Senior setter Logan Newberry (Glade Spring, Va.) had a team-high 10 assists, three digs and a kill. Sophomore setter Zoie Pace (Collinsville, Va.) went for five assists, two digs and a service ace.

The Thomas More Match
- Boling once again led the offensive charge with nine kills, a team-high 11 digs and three blocks. Duey posted seven kills, three blocks, two assists, one dig and a service ace while Harnichar had five kills, four blocks and a dig.
- Newberry went for 10 assists, three digs and a service ace. Freshman setter Sydni Davis (Cornelius, N.C.) registered seven assists and six digs for the Wasps.

- Emory & Henry opens South Atlantic Conference play this Tuesday, September 16 when they travel to take on Tusculum University. First serve is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. from Greeneville, Tennessee.
