Beth Funkhouser is entering her fourth year of her second stint as Clinical Coordinator at Emory & Henry College and her seventh overall. In addition her work with E&H’s Athletic Training Students, she also serves as an Assistant Athletic Trainer.

Funkhouser’s sport responsibilites for the 2012-13 year are men’s soccer, women’s swimming and men’s and women’s tennis.

Prior to returning to Emory, Funkhouser was the Head Athletic Trainer for the Washington County School System for four years.

Funkhouser is a 2002 graduate of E&H with a bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training and physical education and earned a Master of Education degree from the University of Virginia in 2003. A native of Culpeper County, Funkhouser now resides in Abingdon.
