Beth Funkhouser is entering her sixth year of her second stint
as Athletic Training Clinical Coordinator at Emory & Henry
College and her eighth overall. In addition her work with
E&H’s Athletic Training Students, she also serves as an
Assistant Athletic Trainer.
Funkhouser will continue to work with the men's soccer program in 2014-15 and will have an increased academic role in Emory & Henry's CAATE-Accredited Athletic Training Education Program.
Prior to returning to Emory, Funkhouser was the Head Athletic Trainer for the Washington County School System for four years.
Funkhouser is a 2002 graduate of E&H with a bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training and physical education and earned a Master of Education degree from the University of Virginia in 2003. A native of Culpeper County, Funkhouser now resides in Abingdon.
